Five years ago – to the day – we discovered this Delahaye 135 MS. It is a two-seater “Vedette” type cabriolet with a body by Henri Chapron.
I had come to visit a friend to buy a Delahaye coupé from the same body shop. And right next to it, there was this beauty.
My friend told me he had a convertible but I didn’t know it was the “Vedette” model!
For the record, we only knew 3 of them until today. And the 3 are in 3 big collections. My friend had bought this car in 1962. It took me two years to convince him to sell it to me!
