You want to make an offer… how does it work?

Here we are! You’ve taken all the information about the car. If you don’t live too far away, you’ve probably come to see it and maybe even driven it. The dates of the private auctions are public. All you have to do is register and wait for the opening date of the Soft Auction.

But… before that, you can perhaps make an offer and close the deal without waiting for the auction.

HOW TO DO IT IN PRACTICE?
The offer is made in writing with the dedicated form that you need to sign and send back by email to Anne-Cécile at ac.rouviere@jwaclassic.com.

Your offer must be higher than the best offer already registered on the website. JWA Classic will reply within 24 to 36 hours.

If your offer is accepted, a private sale contract is concluded and the Soft Auction ends. The end of the sale is published on the JWA Classic website but all other information (price, identity of the buyer, conditions of the sale, etc.) remains confidential.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR OFFER COMES IN FIRST POSITION ON THE OPENING DAY OF THE AUCTION?

If no offer has been registered after yours, the private auction opens with a starting bid equal to your offer.

For example, if your offer is €100,000, the starting bid is €100,000. If you confirm your offer and no one outbids you, the car will be sold to you with a 5% discount, giving a final price of €95,000.

If there are other bids and you are the highest bidder, for example with a bid of €120,000. You will still keep a 5% discount and the car will be sold to you for €114,000.

As we have already written, the advantage of making an offer is therefore twofold:
To secure the right to a 5% discount and to have your offer accepted at a price you have chosen yourself.

In a future post we will answer other practical questions.
Do not hesitate : contact Anne-Cécile if you have any question (ac.rouviere@jwaclassic.com).
