It’s true that the Delahaye 801.736 doesn’t look like the other Delahaye 135 and that on the other hand it looks a lot like the Delahaye 235.
She certainly served as a first draft for the future “Elfe” and she can be considered as a prototype.
As such, it presents some originalities or rarities as, for example:
– electric windows
– little-used turn signals
– integrated door handles
– a side trunk opening
– a trunk opening control inside the passenger compartment
and finally very large quarter windows that give a very appreciable visibility compared to a classic coupe.
